Pitch Perfect Wedding

There are many options for wedding music, be it the music for the ceremony or entertainment for the pre-reception cocktail hour. And with the popularity of “Pitch Perfect” and “Pitch Perfect 2”, a cappella has gone from the stage to wherever you want it to be, including at your wedding.

There are many benefits to hiring an a cappella group to perform at your wedding. If you are having an outdoor ceremony at a park, estate or gardens, you won’t need to worry about finding an electrical outlet as you would with a DJ or band.  Also, they are very mobile, and can move around the grounds with you as you walk down the aisle. Another thing is that most a cappella groups, given time, can learn any song you wish to have sung for your ceremony.  In addition, after the ceremony itself, an a cappella group can be great entertainment for your guests while you and your family are off working with your photographer. If your ceremony is at an indoor venue, an a cappella group will be almost like having a choir at your wedding.

Contact your local university, you will find that most  music schools have a cappella groups, and you can also check your local high school music programs to see what they may have.
