7 Bridal Trends from a Top Designer

March 18, 2020

When fashion week rolls around, we get inundated with photos, press releases and everyone’s “best of” lists.  There is so much to share it’s just almost too much!  We have a hard time narrowing it down to just a few to show you and when we received a list from an actual designer as to the latest trends to watch in 2020, we couldn’t help but share.

“Our message is clear: I design many types of gowns to compliment the varied types of brides, themes and diversified trends. I get inspired when I think that every gown and each bride has a story,” Gardner shares. Here are 7 trends from designer Madeline Gardner who shares and forecasts the wedding gown trends for 2020.

4. Super Wow, Dramatic Trains That Tell a Story

Remember Meghan Markle’s veil featuring gorgeous, intricate embroidery specifically with the signature flowers from all of the countries in the British Commonwealth. Well, since then, brides have been eyeing sweep and fishtail to statement-making trains. Personalization and customization is happening where brides are adding touching details to the fabric of their wedding dress.
