The Memorial Chapel can be the perfect spot for your dream wedding. Gather your bridesmaids and flower girls in the two elegant bridal suites located on the second floor of the Main Chapel. Your groom and his attendants will be comfortable in the Lounge located on the main floor. Come stand between the Corinthian columns and under the glow of the honeycomb dome and profess your love for each other. Your guests will be in awe as she enters to the sounds of the pipe organ as it plays so majestically. They will revel as the bride makes her grand entrance floating down the aisle that is 97 feet long. The Main Chapel will accommodate groups of up to 300 per time slot or you can fill the Chapel with 1000 of your closest friends. Got a small group not looking for the over-the-top affairs? Just want immediate family and friends? We can accommodate you come see our Garden Chapel. The Garden Chapel will offer that intimate feel with cozy seating for 80 guests or less. Enjoy the warm glow from the windows as the sun bounces off the oak pews and wall. Your bridal party will be framed by the handcrafted multi-faith Tree of Life that is the backdrop for the alter area. The Memorial Chapel on the beautiful campus of the University of Maryland has something for everyone….. The Chapel has been united couples of all faiths and traditions in holy matrimony since 1952. Your family and guests will be quite comfortable as they enjoy the reverent atmosphere and the charm of the Memorial Chapel.
