Historic London Town and Gardens ... is a magnificent 23 acre waterfront venue unparalleled in the Annapolis area, just minutes from the Naval Academy in Maryland. Set on a bluff with majestic views of the South River, London Town is romantic and peaceful with modern elegance and historic charm. We would be honored to be a part of your memorable day. The ornamental and woodland gardens offer elegant vistas in which to stage ceremonies but our most popular selection is the River Deck. It is a photographers paradise here with a multitude of opportunities including waterfront, gardens, historic structures and our 185 ft pier. Our Glass Pavilion with surrounding patios and decks is available year round for parties of up to 70 with room for dinner and dancing. When coupled with our 40 x 40 white organdy draped, chandelierd tent on site from late spring through late fall, our capacity increases to 185. The William Brown House, our National Historic Landmark circa 1760 is a colonial gem suited to small intimate gatherings of 30 or less- perfect for smaller weddings or rehearsal dinners. It may be open for your guests to view the first hour of your reception if there is not an event booked there with advance notice. Our diverse list of approved caterers (found under the tab "Best of the Best") offers many options of style and price. You will design your layout and event with your caterer who will then do all the set up, break down and clean up of the site, in cooperation with the Director of Events, Adriana Del Sesto. We provide all the tables and chairs you would need for ceremonies and receptions for up to 150 guests. Through your caterer, you will secure the linens of your choice and any other rental items you may wish for. An easily secured one day liquor license allow you to pay retail for your own alcohol, a very cost effective attivute to hosting your wedding here. On site parking will accommodate 90 cars. Valet parking, portable rest rooms (for parties over 150) and shuttle transportation from your hotel can be arranged.
