The original Piney Branch Corporation started in 1964 after the three founders, Tom Shilling, Bill Armacost and Fred Eberling, organized to have the golf course built. The goal was "to provide a high quality golf course for the enjoyment of its members."
Piney Branch Golf Club, located in the beautiful rolling countryside of Carroll County, offers continental cuisine with a Maryland flare - one of our specialties is our famous Maryland crab cakes. The dining room, overlooking the lush 18-hole golf course and putting green, serves lunch and dinner Tuesdays through Sundays. Dining is also available on the patio and in the lounge.
Private conference room facilities are available for groups wishing to meet off site or for small private parties. The Club can accommodate groups up to 120 for events such as golf outings, weddings, banquet dinners and corporate meetings. We are a full service facility - we will make all the arrangements and take care of all the details of your event so that all you have to do is come and enjoy your time here at the Club.
Maryland's rolling hills, northwest winds, and challenging greens invite you to play Piney Branch Golf Course located just 30 minutes Northwest of Baltimore. This par 71 course features four sets of tees.
