Whitney and Pete
Pete and I met at college and started dating shortly thereafter. While he was deployed in Iraq for 15 months, we made plans to go to Spain when he got back. While we were there, he kept trying to find romantic spots to propose and finally realized that having the woman he loved in front of him was all he needed. I had been reading bridal magazines since I was 14 so I knew how I wanted it to look. We got married at our college and had the reception at Antrim 1844. We went with chocolate brown and light yellow with red and burgundy as our accent color and incorporated that throughout the wedding. The best thing about the day was exchanging the vows we wrote. It was so personal and so us!
