Julianna and Edward
Edward and I met through a mutual friend in New York City. On our first date we noticed that our waiter wasn’t coming back to our table. All of a sudden we saw an ambulance pull up. Our waiter had suffered a heart attack and was being rushed to the hospital. After dating for a while, we were at our favorite restaurant. In the middle of our dessert, Ed tried to get down on one knee. Because the tables were so tightly packed together, he ended up kicking the guy’s chair behind him, but by then I was already screaming YES!
Living in New York and getting married in Chestertown, we decided on a 11 month engagement. We choose our location because it was really close to Ed’s family farm and is gorgeous! I wanted our theme to be elegant, green and natural so everything was green and white. I incorporated that by having white linens, predominantly green and white floral arrangements, a large 3 peak tent with white sheer panels wrapped around each column and white paper lantern chandeliers.
The best thing about the day besides marrying the hottest guy in the world? Our dance! We had the most fun wedding dance ever. WE started with a slow waltz to Ben Folds, “The Luckiest” and then a minute in switched it to a fast Dirty Dancing classic, “Do You Love Me” by the Contours. It was so much fun seeing everyone’s expressions.
