Courtney and Andrew
Andrew and I went to Clemson University where I lived with three accounting majors. Andrew was also an accounting major and would come over to study. We got to know each other really well and started dating. The day after he got my ring, he took me to Annapolis. It was raining and cold and he was adamant that we at least see the water before we left. That is when he got down on one knee, in the rain, and proposed. I quickly said yes and we ran back tot he car because it was so cold.
We decided to take about a year to plan our wedding with the help of family and friends. With a Fall wedding, we went with a Fall Foliage theme and decor. The Holiday Inn Solomons Island was perfect because right on the water and loved the historic quaint town. Our flowers were a beautiful mix of red and orange flowers and the linens had wine colored napkins, chair sashes and drapery behind the head table.
The best thing about the day was standing at the alter knowing that were finally going to be husband and wife. All the planning had paid off and everything turned out perfectly.
